About the label

Her “Night Flowers” collection draws inspiration from Berlin’s constant renewal, symbolized by a base resembling crumbling stone and a flower-like top for versatile floral arrangements. This innovative design is both practical and unique.

Sanna’s connection to Berlin runs deep̶her family lived here until 1945, and she herself moved to the city over 20 years ago, finally feeling at home. The rebellious spirit of 1980s Berlin, particularly its punk aesthetic, strongly influences her work, giving it authenticity and edge.

Following a cancer diagnosis, she created the “fine thanks” series, featuring distorted smiley faces, symbolizing how people often say “fine” when they’re struggling inside. Her graffiti-inspired cups and vases further capture the city’s spirit, merging street art with functionality.
