Studio Radical Softness is a Berlin-based design studio founded by multidisciplinary artist, designer and curator Niklas Jeroch. True to its name, the studio rejects conventional norms and embraces a philosophy that views softness as a form of strength. Niklas began experimenting with 3D printing in 2021 and introduced the Organic Angel Vases in 2022, marking the beginning of a new, expressive design language.
The studio’s work stands in contrast to the rigid, often toxic environments of the arts and cultural world, offering instead a space defined by color, queerness and radical softness. None of its creations follow prefabricated rules or geometric constraints. Instead, each piece draws inspiration from fashion, archaeology, fluid motion, marine life, science fiction and the shimmering qualities of the materials themselves. The resulting designs resemble iridescent artifacts from otherworldly realms, transforming any space into a place of imagination and emotional resonance.
