Workshop 1: Worldbuilding with AI

In this hands-on session, participants develop their own visual universe using AI image generation. Starting from personal symbols, cultural references, and material obsessions, they learn to identify and combine unexpected motifs to create rich, atmospheric worlds in Midjourney. Key techniques include reverse prompting and strategic prompt construction for mood, materiality, and spatial design. By the end, each participant will have a coherent visual world that serves as a foundation for further creative exploration.

Workshop 2: Character Design & Iterative Fashion Design with AI

Building on the worlds created in Session 1, participants now populate their universes with characters and fashion. This session focuses on designing figures, garments, and styling within an established visual context, translating worldbuilding into wearable narratives. Participants learn iterative design techniques in Midjourney: evolving silhouettes and refining details across multiple outputs. The session explores how AI can function as a design partner in the creative process, accelerating ideation while keeping a strong artistic point of view.

Taskin Goec is a designer and AI artist working bridging creative and tech. With a background in fashion, he brings a deep understanding of materiality and construction to his AI-driven practice. Taskin creates hyperrealistic campaign imagery, editorial content, and motion pieces for luxury fashion and lifestyle brands. He teaches at various universities such as Polimoda and HTW Berlin.
